I am a creator, designer, writer, and educator. Currently at IBM, I work as a UX Designer and Program Manager, focusing on employee engagement, culture, and workplace strategy. Additionally, I am an iteration & resource manager for our over 30 designers across multiple cross-functional projects.

My career began teaching English in Chicago, San Diego, Czech Republic, and New York City. After 5 years of teaching, including a year of service in Americorps, where I completed 1700 hours of community service, I left teaching to pursue a Master’s degree from New York University. During my time at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, I explored the intersection of psychology, technology, and design. It was there that I fell in love with 100 Days of Making.

Welcome to the Henson template. To get started, watch these short videos on Squarespace basics and read the template guide. This area is perfect for generating visitor interest by going into more detail about yourself, your project, or your company.

This space is ideal for long form text. You can talk about how your idea started, how long you’ve been working on it and why it’s important. The more specific you are, the more visitors can engage with what you do. This is also an opportunity to answer any questions they may have about you or your work. Note that this paragraph and the one above were created with Text Blocks. Blocks are the foundation of your site. Learn more about them here.
